A rich, creamy chocolate ice cream with a protein-packed twist. Made with our Milk Chocolate Protein, it’s the perfect homemade treat for dessert cravings, weekend indulgence or a little chocolatey pick-me-up.
Ingredients
- Frozen bananas: 2
- Plix Strength Fermented Yeast Protein: 1 scoop
- Cocoa powder: 2 tbsp
- Greek yogurt: ½ cup
- Peanut butter: 1 tbsp
- Dark chocolate: 20 g, chopped
- Milk: 2–3 tbsp
- Vanilla extract: ½ tsp
- Honey or maple syrup: 1 tsp
How to make
1Freeze:Slice the bananas & freeze them for at least 3–4 hours or until completely frozen.
2Blend:Add frozen bananas, Greek yogurt, Milk Chocolate Protein & cocoa powder to a blender.
3Mix:Add peanut butter, vanilla & honey, then blend until smooth & creamy.
4Loosen:Add milk little by little & blend until you reach a thick, scoopable consistency.
5Fold:Add chopped dark chocolate & gently mix it through.
6Freeze:Transfer to a container & freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer texture.
7Scoop:Let it sit for a few minutes before scooping, then top with chocolate shavings & enjoy.
